TEDxUofM took place April 10th, 2010, at the Biomedical Science Research Building at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Sam Valenti IV is the founder of Ghostly International, home to two of America’s finest independent record labels, Ghostly and Spectral Sound. The Michigan based company has carefully built a reputation for artistic quality and innovation since its inception in 1999.

About TEDx, x = independently organized event

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
